Privacy Policy
Our customers and your information are very important to us. Here's the simple text version of what we do with your information:
When you become a customer by placing an order, you provide your name, shipping address, billing address, phone number and email. These are necessary to fulfill your order.
We don't see or save your payment details; those are handled by Shopify's checkout system and/or Paypal. To be clear: we do not see your credit card details or store credit card information.
Your name and address details are stored securely via Shopify and on our cloud-based database, also securely hosted. When it is time to fulfill an order or mail out a subscription, the mailing info is passed on to either our printer or fulfillment company so that your products can be sent.
We do require your email address at the time of an order so that you may receive shipping updates and/or tracking updates if relevant.
If you start an order and enter your email address but then abandon your cart, you will receive a reminder email about the items in your cart. You can opt out of such messages. We will not use your email address for any other marketing purposes unless you've expressly signed up.
If you're a subscriber to our print magazine, we will email you when your subscription is up for renewal. There is a link to opt out of these message on each and every message.
If you opt in to receive email marketing, you will receive a weekly newsletter every Tuesday and occasional messages about sales, events, new product releases or important information. You can also select to receive our occasional weekend newsletter, All About YOU. You can opt out at any time, there is always a link in the footer of all messages.
UPPERCASE does not purchase email lists nor does it sell any of its data.
UPPERCASE does not use ad retargeting or similar practices.

This Privacy Policy describes how your personal information is collected, used, and shared when you visit or make a purchase from shop.uppercasemagazine.com (the “Site”).

When you place an order through the Site, we will maintain your Order Information for our records unless and until you ask us to delete this information.

We may update this privacy policy from time to time in order to reflect, for example, changes to our practices or for other operational, legal or regulatory reasons.
