I'm Janine, the publisher, editor, designer (and customer service, too!) of this one-woman operation. I appreciate you taking the time to read and understand the details below before placing an order. It will make your ordering experience easier and my workload a little lighter—so that I can concentrate on creating all these lovely books and magazines!
All orders must be placed online. No local pickups in Calgary.
I employ a fulfillment company to pack and ship your orders, following health and safety precautions. Whenever possible, USA and overseas orders ship from Los Angeles and Canadian orders from Montreal. You will receive an automated notice when your order of a book or back issue leaves the warehouse. Delivery times are not guaranteed by any carriers. Expect delays in updates to tracking info. Most items are sent media/publications mail, which is not traceable at every step. Book and back issue bundles are sent via Priority Mail or FedEx.
Outside of North America? We ship to UK, Europe, Australia, New Zealand and parts of Asia. If you're in the UK or Europe consider ordering books and back issues from our UK distributor for faster shipping. Australia and New Zealand: Expect overseas shipments to take at least 6-8 weeks. In all cases, customs charges are at the discretion of the recipient's country and the responsibility of the purchaser.
Currency conversion: UPPERCASE is a Canadian company with all prices and receipts shown in Canadian dollars. The equivalent conversion is shown via your payment method. We accept Visa, MC, Amex and Paypal—no cheques or ordering by mail. *I'm experimenting with an app that will display the prices in your currency of choice—scroll down to the bottom of this page to activate.
Please be mindful when adding items to your cart. Read all product descriptions and take your time. Proof all names, addresses and input your email carefully. Inputting addresses is easier on a computer or laptop than a mobile device. Receipts are emailed immediately following a successful transaction. Review the emailed receipt and get in touch right away if you've made a mistake. Save your receipts for future reference.
